Show #2 Skin and Steel

Well, here are a couple pics from the Skin and Steel event. Skin and steel is a tattoo and motorcycle show event in Rochester. There were over 100 bikes and many, many people with tattoos (myself included). This was the first "bike only" show that the Bone Daddy has been entered in and we won 2nd place !!!! Alot of people really enjoyed my trike and I received very good compliments from everyone. We all had a blast. Robin wasn't able to attend because she was sick, and we missed her alot. Theres always next year for her though, at least she is feeling better !!! Now I can actually put the bone Daddy out on the road and see what he can do !!!!!

It's SHOWTIME !!!

Well have not written since we have attended 2 shows with the trikes. The first show was Motor Mania. It was an invite only 3 day event where we displayed out trikes with alot of cars, motorcycles and trucks. We had a great time and Robin got to meet Lou Gramm from the 80's band Foreigner. (Remember the song Juke Box Hero and I've Been Waiting for a Girl Like You...thats him) Anyway he had a car entered into the show and we got to chat and talk with him. He even came over with his grandkids and sat on the trikes...much fun. Jeff (the builder of the trikes) won a Craftmanship Award for the trikes on display. Very Cool!!

Done !!!!!!!!

Well he's all done !!! The Bone Daddy is alive !!!! I love this trike so much !! It really took alot of time and creativity to do this project. Jeff has really outdone himself with this trike !!!! I want to say thanks to my parents for "sponsoring" this project. Without them it would have only continued to be a dream in my head....Thanks Mom and Dad !!! I would also like to thank Robin for having patience with me when I would come home from the garage all miserable..and Linda for mudding and sanding her ass off and contributing all of her spare time to help me, thanks Lindee Loo Hoo....Hope everyone enjoys the pics and I will see you all soon !!!!

Junk on the Trunk....

Well the trunk lid is complete....I don't think it came out too bad...for me being amateur at this whole painting thing. Saturday we start on the engine lid and then go to paint the whole machine when its done being "mudded". I am so pleased with the progress and I am still praying that I can make the deadline for the show in Rochester on the 19th of April. Hopefully we got ALOT done on Saturday because thats my last weekend to work with Jeff before the show....ugh..I am so nervous, but I know we will make it!!!!

It's ALIVE !!!!!!

Well at approximately 2:45 pm today the "Bone Daddy" came to life !!!! We started him up and boy does he sound good !!!! I even got to drive him around the yard!!! How awesome !!! Rob (as you can see) is ready to ride...she thinks she's gonna drive but she sadly is mistaken !!! I bought a new vest at the swap meet in Syracuse and Mom put a big patch of Jack on the back for me...it's HOT !!!

More to come soon....we enter the painting mode next...and I am so nervous !!!
